What is Executive Function?
Executive functions are the mental skills that help us get things done. they include working memory, flexible thinking, and self-control. Surprisingly, gaming is a workout for all three.
Planning Ahead
In our cooking games, kids must sequence steps: dough first, then sauce, then cheese. If they skip a step, the pizza doesn't work. This teaches logical sequencing and forward planning.
Flexible Thinking
Games often change rules or increase difficulty levels unexpectedly. Adapting to these changes requires cognitive flexibilityβthe ability to switch gears and think about something in a new way.
